Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles safely and efficiently along assigned routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight using pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual handling as required.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and delivery receipts.
- Provide professional customer service at each delivery location.
- Ensure cargo is secure and protected from damage during transit.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations in the last 5 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
