Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Trucks/Trailers) safely and efficiently on local and regional routes, including deliveries to Florida.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and safety standards are met.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Keep the truck clean and organized, including the cab and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Experience with HazMat and/or Tanker endorsements is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience in the last 5 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
