Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A & B) to transport freight safely and efficiently across the region.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and paperwork, adhering to FMCSA and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Uphold a professional and safety-first culture at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license with the required endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat, or Doubles/Triples preferred but not required).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and handle the physical demands of the job.
