Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A or Class B vehicles in and around the Boston metropolitan area.
- Load and unload freight using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and delivery receipts (BOLs).
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license (Massachusetts or equivalent).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of local Boston routes and geography.
- Basic computer skills for logging delivery information.
