Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver cargo to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any issues immediately.
- Load and unload freight securely using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and delivery receipts.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery issues on-site professionally.
- Adhere strictly to all federal, state, and local traffic laws, as well as company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement standards and DOT regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
