Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B) to designated delivery locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any issues immediately.
- Load and unload cargo carefully, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery issues efficiently and courteously.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional overtime.
