Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver cargo to designated locations in Philadelphia and Virginia.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper securement and safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date driver logs (DOT compliant) and delivery paperwork.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel to ensure satisfaction.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical) valid for 12 months.
- Clear driving record (MVR) with no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence.
- Physical ability to lift and move cargo weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid state-issued ID.
