Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in strict compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Deliver freight to customer locations on time and in perfect condition.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs and all necessary delivery documentation.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding route changes or delays.
- Ensure the security and proper handling of cargo during transit.
- Adhere to all local traffic laws and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo securement.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift and handle cargo up to 50lbs as required.
