Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 commercial vehicles on regional routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Accurately complete electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to safety protocols
- Support warehouse operations when not on assigned routes
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and HOS compliance
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Experience with flatbed, dry van, or tanker trailers preferred
- Strong communication skills and route familiarity in Texas
