Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles within NYC metro area
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere to HOS regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment usage
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
- Maintain clean driving record and professional appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license or willingness to obtain
- Clean MVR with no major violations in 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math and navigation skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Flexibility for early morning/evening shifts
- Strong commitment to safety protocols
- Team player with excellent communication skills
