Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on designated routes from Philadelphia to California and surrounding regions.
- Complete all pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records in strict adherence to FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring cargo security and proper handling.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Uphold the company's high standards for customer service and professional conduct.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be willing to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Willingness to travel long-haul to California and other western destinations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
