Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over 26,000 lbs for regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Deliver time-sensitive freight to Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch via ELD systems for route optimization
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and warehouse equipment
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with HOS regulations and electronic logging
- Experience in flatbed, dry van, or refrigerated transport
- Strong navigation skills using GPS and route planning tools
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and TSA clearance
