Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate schedules and updates.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with required endorsements.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
