Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles within the assigned routes.
- Load and unload cargo according to safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD/DSO) and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Deliver goods to designated locations on schedule while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol screen.
- At least 2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform physical tasks.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
