Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle (CMV) in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securement and safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Navigate routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules and avoid delays.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and drug screen clearance.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor duties.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
