Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to transport goods across the state and regional routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Secure cargo properly, adhering to all weight and balance requirements.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Perform loading and unloading duties efficiently while maintaining a clean work environment.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure zero accidents.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
