Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently across the United States.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) issued by the state of North Carolina.
- Current DOT Medical Card and valid DOT Drug Screen.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and substance abuse screening.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
