Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently on local routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo using proper techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight to customers in the Jacksonville area.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT card) valid.
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience (preferred).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
