Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) across designated routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Accurately complete logbooks, bills of lading, and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse staff
- Manage load securement and cargo handling procedures
- Respond professionally to route changes or unexpected delays
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overnight trips
