Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 commercial vehicles for regional routes within Florida and southeastern states
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load management and delivery timing
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Maintain clean driving record and complete required training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of recent tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of defensive driving techniques
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend work
