Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs (e-tron compliant)
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and ensure delivery efficiency
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with clients and warehouse personnel
- Maintain clean and organized cab environment
- Participate in quarterly safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and DOT regulations
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic navigation skills (GPS proficiency)
- Flexibility for overnight stays (2-3 nights/month)
- Excellent time management and communication skills
