Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery trucks and vans adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring packages are secure and handling freight with care.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Interact professionally with customers to resolve delivery issues and ensure satisfaction.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and organized at all times.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements (e.g., Tanker, Hazmat).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a professional capacity.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging hours and checking dispatch.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.
