Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional routes (IL, WI, IN, MI)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain electronic logs (ELD)
- Deliver freight to distribution centers and retail locations on time
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch team via Qualcomm for route updates
- Secure and unload freight using appropriate equipment
- Complete paperwork accurately and submit documentation promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with regional geography
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
- Flexibility for overnight stays (1-2 nights weekly)
