Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) to deliver freight within the region.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation (DOT compliant).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Train: Must be willing to obtain a CDL Class A license (we assist with training).
- Driver's License: Valid state-issued driver's license required.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Physical Ability: Ability to pass a DOT physical examination (must be able to lift up to 50lbs).
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
