Responsibilities
- Pre-Trip & Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of the tractor and trailer to ensure safety compliance before and after each shift.
- Safe Operation: Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load & Unload: Secure freight properly and assist with loading and unloading cargo at delivery points.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including logbooks (ELD), delivery receipts, and inspection reports.
- Customer Service: Deliver freight on time and represent the company professionally to customers.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License: Must be currently held and in good standing.
- Clean Driving Record: No more than 3 minor violations in the past 3 years; no DUIs.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a DOT physical and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (10pm - 6am).
