Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 53-foot dry van or flatbed truck on local routes.
- Deliver freight to designated locations in and around the Chicago metropolitan area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Complete daily logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe driving record at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and traffic laws.
- Excellent time management and customer service skills.
