Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on a variety of routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and DOT logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Uphold a professional image at all times while on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a clean MVR.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel regionally or over the road.
