Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) to ensure cargo integrity.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and safety personnel regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the cab and cargo area at all times.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a zero-accident workplace.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Current DOT medical card and DOT physical examination.
- At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local Denver, CO, and regional roadways.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required.
