Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Operation: Operate commercial vehicles (Class A) in a safe, defensive, and professional manner on various road conditions.
- Maintenance & Inspection: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load Management: Secure cargo properly, ensuring load integrity and safety during transit.
- Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, including Bills of Lading (BOL) and delivery receipts.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company policies, FMCSA regulations, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with the proper endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the last 3 years (or 2 years total).
- Record: Clean driving record (MVR) with no preventable accidents or major traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and meet the physical demands of the job.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
