Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks over various road types in and around the Oklahoma City metropolitan area.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
- Manage cargo loading and unloading using proper safety techniques and securing equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records in strict adherence to FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, and delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required at time of application.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card) and DOT physical on file.
- Clean driving record (no more than two preventable accidents in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong navigation skills and the ability to read and interpret maps and GPS systems.
