Responsibilities
- Operate Commercial Vehicles: Safely drive commercial trucks to deliver freight on time and in full, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition and report any maintenance needs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of delivery logs, mileage, and fuel consumption, ensuring full compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load & Unload: Securely load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring goods are protected during transit.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers at delivery points, resolving any issues that may arise.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL: Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in good standing.
- Medical Card: Hold a current and valid DOT Medical Card.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Record: Clean driving record (MVR) with no recent DUIs or reckless driving violations.
- Requirements: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Must be at least 21 years old.
