Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and safety standards.
- Manage cargo loading and unloading with accuracy and care.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all Hours of Service regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Uphold a professional image and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
