Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and legally in compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any defects or issues.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution and cargo protection.
- Navigate local and regional routes in San Francisco efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel at delivery sites.
- Report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety protocols, and cargo securement.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a professional demeanor.
