Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on designated routes in San Antonio and surrounding areas.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload cargo securely, verifying weight and compatibility with transport requirements.
- Maintain accurate records using electronic logging devices (ELD) and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Ensure the truck cabin and cargo area remain clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT card) and proof of insurance.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no DUIs, reckless driving, or major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a mandatory drug screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety protocols, and interstate regulations.
