Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies to ensure passenger and cargo safety.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time and in perfect condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes and delivery status.
- Keep the truck clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience (OTR or Flatbed).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) with no restrictions.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no DUIs or major moving violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of interstate commerce laws and safety regulations.
