Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver cargo on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT medical card).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
