Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles in a safe and efficient manner on a designated route.
- Load and unload freight accurately and securely using proper equipment.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and ensure full compliance with DOT regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card (medical examiner's certificate).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and cargo handling procedures.
- Valid commercial driver's permit (CDP).
