Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial tractor-trailers on regional and over-the-road routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state of Illinois.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) valid for at least 6 months.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
