Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers over long distances
- Adhere to DOT regulations and conduct pre/post-trip inspections
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Ensure secure cargo handling and timely deliveries
- Perform minor preventative maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong understanding of HOS regulations and ELD compliance
- Basic knowledge of freight documentation
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
