Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle (CMV) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is road-ready and secure.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo security and safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and varying schedules.
