Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently across assigned routes.
- Ensure the secure loading, unloading, and documentation of cargo.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, mileage records, and vehicle inspection reports (DVIR).
- Adhere to all FMCSA and DOT regulations regarding hours of service and safety.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Strong knowledge of interstate and intrastate traffic laws and regulations.
- Ability to lift and handle cargo manually.
