Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes
- Pre-trip inspections and maintenance documentation compliance
- Timely delivery of freight while maintaining strict delivery schedules
- Adherence to DOT regulations and HOS guidelines
- Effective communication with dispatch and clients
- Load/unload coordination with minimal detention time
- Route optimization for maximum efficiency
- Incident reporting and safety protocol adherence
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning start times
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Strong navigation skills and route familiarity
