Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for regional routes within Texas and neighboring states
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and FMCSA compliance standards
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining pristine vehicle condition
- Implement defensive driving techniques in all weather conditions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients throughout transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Southwest regional roadways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physically demanding tasks
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
