Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) to deliver freight across the region.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Current Medical Card (DOT compliant).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physical ability to lift, push, or pull cargo weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Experience with dry van or flatbed preferred but not required for the right candidate.
