Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, verifying weight and securing loads according to safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) and daily logs.
- Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and delivery schedules.
- Maintain a professional appearance and clean driving record at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to obtain or possess a Hazmat and Tanker endorsement (preferred).
- U.S. Citizenship or Legal Permanent Residency is required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
