Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for regional freight delivery routes
- Perform thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
- Load/unload freight with appropriate equipment and securement protocols
- Communicate professionally with clients and warehouse personnel
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and HOS rules
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Proficient in using electronic logging devices and GPS navigation
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Must pass comprehensive background check
