Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across Denver metro routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage loading/unloading operations with precision and care
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Optimize routes to meet tight delivery schedules while prioritizing safety
- Document delivery paperwork and resolve minor shipment discrepancies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service excellence
- Pass mandatory background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Denver-area traffic patterns and delivery regulations
