Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/semi-trucks) for local and regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and complete required training modules
- Assist in route optimization and timely delivery of goods
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to complete paid CDL training program
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and delivery documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and reliability
- No CDL experience required – we train from ground up!
