Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (tractors and trailers) safely and efficiently over assigned routes in California and beyond.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs and all required documentation.
- Deliver freight to customers in a timely manner while maintaining a professional appearance and attitude.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies regarding cargo securement and safety.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be 21 years of age or older to operate commercial vehicles across state lines.
- Willingness to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
