Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for regional and local routes within Massachusetts and surrounding states
- Maintain meticulous logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Uphold strict safety protocols and secure cargo handling procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Boston metro area traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and Hours of Service (HOS)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
